Scooba a must have with little kiddos! June 3, 2009 Kids Mom I have a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old and hardwood floor. My 1 yr old seems to think she is a vacuum, everything is in her mouth. I run my scooba everynight in the living room (where she plays) and that thing will go for 45 min and get everything cleaned up for me by morning. It has only got stuck a a very few things so I just push my chairs back and no problem! I love it!!!!!!
Cleans well when it works... April 20, 2009 Marlene Boran This little machine does a wonderful job of cleaning/drying floors. Mine stopped working at approximately the 13th month. I used this for in-between the times I washed my floors by hand, all in all it was used no more than a dozen times. An expensive disappointment...
Wonderful device for scrubbing my tiles January 8, 2009 Andrew Cardno (San Diego, California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This robot is simple to use (not quite as simple as the Roomba) it requires TWO button presses to work. Our tile floors are a drag to clean but this beautiful little device does an excellent job of scrubbing them. To operate you fill with clean water and some cleaning fluid then place on the floor and press two buttons. Don't plan on watching it for too long as its not very fast but it does a great job and knows when its covered the designated area. Empty the dirty water tank at the end and you might be surprised how much dirt was on the floor. I have to spend a little time arranging the furniture so it can move around. Set it to clean your kitchen/dining area before you go to bed and wake up to clean floors! I also own a Roomba and between the two of them, they do enough of the everyday cleaning that I decided I didn't need to employ a cleaner any more. The gadgets paid for themselves in a couple of months.
Good for a while, but one year warrant is not enough and a lot of maintenance November 17, 2008 Christopher A. Longo (Lewis Center, Ohio USA) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
For three and four hundred dollars most IRobot products only last for about a year. If you open them up you will see repaired circuit boards. Save yourself some time and money buy Hoover products. They don't run themselves but they don't need as much maintenance. They need to increase their warranty for thier products before I but another one. I have bought over four vacumn cleaners and a scooba and they work well for a year and then have a lot of trouble. If you have money to waste it is a good product.
Works great! Couldn't do without it now! November 1, 2008 Grandma (Ingleside TX USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this Remanufactured iRobot Scooba Floor Washing Machine in September. It works great. I use it every Saturday. I wouldn't want to be without it now! I had a problem with the "Release to Open" Lever (to get to the clean and dirty tanks. This was within the Manufacturers 90 day warranty. They fixed the release; no problems with the iRobot company. I would recommend Amazon's 2 year warranty for this item, which I did buy. The Scooba does not clean the corners well. This is not a problem if you know about it; you just go around with a mop and clean the corners, and zap the house is clean. I like the way the Scooba scrubs and then squeegees the floor. There's no "mop marks". My husband was annoyed when I insisted on ordering this. After the first use, he was pleasantly surprised. He's bragged to his family about how great it works. Again, I wouldn't want to be without this machine.
