The Hoover SteamVac DualV Widepath with AutoRinse comes with the patented Spinscrub brushes that clean all sides of the carpet fibers. The WidePath provides 20% more brushing action. The DualV Technology provides excellent dirt and water removal accross the entire nozzle. the patented AutoRinse feature automatically rinses carpets with fresh water, leaving less soap residue to keep carpets cleaner for a longer time period. The Heat feature applies heat directly to the floor. Thus no loss of heat where it is needed most. The Spinscrub Powered Hand Tool is great for cleaning spots, upholstry, and stairs. 12 amp motor provides all the powerful suction needed to do the job properly. I got this product for my parents, but of course ended up being the one doing all the cleaning with it.
It is easy to clean with as well as clean up afterwords (old hoover steamvacs were painfully difficult to maintain as the dirty water storage bin could not be taken apart).
I have to mention that the plastics used in putting this unit together feel cheap. They remind me of the cheap plastic used in happy meal toys. there are loose strands of plastic at spots where the injection mold connects. It speaks to poor craftsmanship and corner cutting to get the lowest production cost. Its disappointing for a machine this expensive but so far the performance hasn't suffered.
Other than that, it works as advertised. Thumbs up.

Bought this to repace an old Bissel Pro Heat cleaner that wasn't working well. Let me tell you...I love the new Hoover. It is very easy to use and does a much better job than my old clunker. After reading some of the other reviews I was nervous about buying it but so far I have not experienced any problems what-so-ever and have used it quite a bit. One of my main issues I had with the Hoover was that it didn't heat the water. Having used it....it is not an issue. The water stayed hot and my carpets came out spotless. Now if you fill it up with hot water and don't use it right away obviously the water is going to cool off. Also the suction is so much better than the old Bissel. My carpets were dry in a few hours as opposed to setting up fans and waiting for 6+ hours. Using the stair attachment is super easy easy and it works very well. Clean up was a breeze as well. This is a great product and I would highly recommend it.
